Press Release – Lines of Flight 2019 - First Announcement The much-loved Lines of Flight festival returns to Dunedin in March 2019. First held in 2000 in conjunction with the first Dunedin Fringe Festival and including a 2012 one-off in post-quake Christchurch, the biennial festival of experimental music will be celebrating its eleventh season.   The 2019 lineup features a mix of local, national, and international performers. Among those already confirmed are Melbourne guitar/drum duo Torrential Brain , Wellington turntablist extraordinaire Alphabethead , Aotearoa free-noise godfathers A Handful of Dust , drone maestro K-Group , and Dunedin free jazz act Sewage (with Auckland saxophonist Jeff Henderson ).
